*Dev/Null is a former Mage of the Virtual Adepts, and still sees the world as the Mages do... and can even manipulate it in some similar ways, though to a more minor degree. There are two versions of Dev/Null's Kindred identity that I enjoy playing:

1) Strictly speaking, ve is Caitiff, as ve never had any Sire at all. However, as ve became Kindred due to hacking into the Madness Network, and immediately being recognized as a Malkavian by Malkav + the entire clan, strictly speaking ve is also absolutely a Malkavian. However, with the logic that ve was a Mage and discovered a way to become Kindred without actually being Embraced, ve could manipulate reality into recognizing ver as a Tremere as well.

2) Ve is a Tremere, and was Embraced as one, but escaped from the Pyramid by hacking into the Madness Network and is successfully evading being found via being a Malkavian -- as ve does count as a Malkavian just as much as a Tremere now, since any Kindred with access to the Madness Network is recognized by it as a Malkavian.

Mages are fucking weird, okay.
